Mt. Pleasant Track Club

The Mt. Pleasant Track Club is a group of Athletes, Parents, and Volunteer Coaches that participate in USATF Junior Olympic sanctioned Track & Field and Cross Country Events. The Mt. Pleasant Track Club is part of the Mt. Pleasant Recreation Department's Youth Sports Program. In addition to Junior Olympic Track & Field and Cross Country events team members also participate in local Road Races and school sponsored Track & Field and Cross Country Teams.

History
The Mt. Pleasant Track Club was started several years ago with only a few athletes. Today the MPTC is the largest Youth Track & Field and Cross Country team in the state of South Carolina with over 100 athletes.

Boys & Girls Age Divisions
Sub Bantam	8 yr. olds and under
Bantam	9-10 yr. olds
Midget	11-12 yr olds
Youth	13-14 yr. olds
Intermediate	15-16 yr. olds
Young Men & Women	17 -18 yr. olds
