| The Mt. Pleasant Track
Club Program (Cross Country) is a more advanced level of competition encompassing
all Cross Country Distances. It is still, however, for the beginner
up to a high level of competition. It is open to all ages up to 18
as of December 31, 2010. The Club will be competing as
United States of
America Track and Field (USATF) member and will be competing in
the Junior Olympic Program in meets throughout the Fall. Practice
schedule will be provided during registration. A $55.00 per child Club fee
($50.00 per child for families with two children and $45.00 each
child for three or more children), a
separate check must be payable to MPTC per participant.
Cross
Country
Fall 2008 Highlights
Carly Hall, Noah Spencer, Jacob Spencer, and Megan Lowry lead
the 2008 Cross Country team by capturing individual State
Championships with the MPTC taking 8 age group State Championships
in 2008. Noah Spencer also set a course record at the State Meet.
At the regional meet in Virgina Carly
Hall and Noah Spencer captured Regional titles and Noah lead the
Sub-Bantam boys to a team title with the Sub-Bantam girls, Bantam
Boys, and Bantam Girls all taking 2nd place in the team competition.
